Jr. GIS Application & Database Developer - CBP

cFocus Software seeks a Jr.

GIS Application & Database Developer to join our program supporting the Department of Customer and Border Protection (CBP).

This position is fully remote.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Cartography, Computer Science, or other related fields 2+ years of experience performing GIS and related development, of which it is desirable to have one (1) year performing such activities for law enforcement, immigration, and / or border security Experience in GIS concepts, computer graphics fundamentals, and relational database fundamentals and concepts is essential.
• Must have experience in the development of complex analysis and mapping projects.
• Must be proficient in the coding of software and manipulating digital databases as well as using GIS programming languages, Internet markup languages, and other, pertinent technologies.
• Must have the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical computer users, both orally and in writing.
• Desired to have experience with supporting software including SharePoint and Microsoft PowerApps.
