Role Description

Role Title AWS Senior Network Engineer Location : Salem, OR (Day one onsite) Required Skills

  • Experience in design, implement, and manage network architectures in AWS with hands on experience in managing and deploying network resources in AWS
  • Experience in documenting network designs, presenting solutions, and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in AWS networking services, including VPC, Route 53, Direct Connect, Elastic Load Balancing
  • Experience in network access control lists (ACLs), security groups, encryption, Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution
  • Experience in automation tools (., AWS CloudFormation, Terraform)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve network issues.

Preferred Skills Responsibilities

  • Strong focus on AWS Cloud Networking : design, provision, support; Network automation development using IaC
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of networking to include routing, switching, firewall (stateful / stateless), network monitoring and management.
  • Expertise in configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting AWS services and protocols (VPC, Security Groups, ALB, NLB, Firewall, Route 53, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Private Link)
  • Expertise with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and similar cloud services and have experience configuring and deploying solutions specifically at the network layer.
  • Collaborate with other teams (. Application, Cloud Platform) to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
  • Maintain systems and documentation as needed for audits and compliance.
  • Strong desire to keep technical skills current and remain abreast of emerging technologies.
