This position offers an exciting opportunity to support world-class research in clinical and basic sciences by managing and maintaining advanced computing systems. The role involves system administration, troubleshooting, software maintenance, and collaboration with scientists, engineers, and facility staff.
Responsibilities include :
- Deploying, monitoring, and managing Linux-based HPC clusters and storage systems.
- Installing, upgrading, and maintaining scientific software and applications.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting across hardware, software, and network issues.
- Developing scripts for automation, monitoring, and data pipeline optimization.
- Supporting researchers with project execution, benchmarking, and resource planning.
- Managing resource scheduling systems and ensuring security compliance.
- Creating technical documentation and delivering user training.
Minimum qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Bioinformatics, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience with Linux systems, HPC clusters, and large-scale storage.Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl).Experience with job scheduling and resource management tools.Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of scientific software and security practices.Preferred qualifications :
