American Traveler seeks a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2 years of experience, ARRT and CA license, for an acute care hospital setting with variable shifts.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in an acute care hospital environment in the diagnostic radiology departmentDaily caseload is typically 30-35 scans per shiftUses Epic for charting; prior Epic experience is requiredSelf-scheduling with variable 10-hour shifts including early mornings, days, and nights; shift assignment follows seniorityNo on-call required for this positionWeekend coverage required every other weekend, with at least six weekend shifts per 6-week scheduleCandidates must be willing to float to meet unit and facility needsTravelers may be required to float between facilities within the stateFree parking is available on siteResponsibilities include performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring quality imaging, and assisting with patient care and safetyFirst-time travelers will be considered for this assignmentReturn staff are eligible after a 3-month break in service and must reside outside of a 50-mile radiusRequested time off must be declared at the time of submission; significant RTO may affect considerationAll travelers are expected to float as needed between state-wide facilitiesOrientation modules must be completed prior to startScrub color information provided upon assignmentFree parking is provided\n \n Requirements\n
Current ARRT certification, BLS, and active CA license are required (license required if applicable)Minimum of 2 years of recent X-ray technologist experience is requiredEpic EMR experience is requiredReferences from two supervisory personnel covering a year of employment within the last three years in a similar setting are requiredMust commit to working at least three out of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)Pending or temporary licenses are not accepted\n Benefits\n
