What You'll Do :

Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, adapting to the needs of a healthcare environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related issues.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare location to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance needs according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Collaborate with healthcare staff, visitors, and patients in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining awareness of surroundings.

Follow all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training guidelines related to healthcare site operations and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements :

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
