Job Description
As the Nursing Program Director at Center for Allied Health Education, you will be responsible for the overall management and administration of our nursing program. You will play a crucial role in shaping the curriculum, ensuring program accreditation, and providing leadership to our faculty and students. Your responsibilities will include :
- Curriculum Development : Collaborating with faculty to develop, implement, and evaluate nursing curriculum that meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Program Accreditation : Leading efforts to maintain and attain program accreditation, ensuring compliance with relevant accrediting bodies.
- Faculty Leadership : Providing guidance and support to nursing faculty, including recruitment, professional development, and performance evaluation.
- Student Success : Monitoring and enhancing student outcomes and success rates, implementing strategies to support student retention and progression.
- Quality Assurance : Implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness and student learning experiences.
- Budget Management : Managing program budgets, resource allocation, and fiscal planning to ensure program sustainability.
- Community Engagement : Establishing and maintaining partnerships with healthcare facilities and organizations to enhance clinical placements and student experiences.
Requirements
A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (Doctorate preferred).A current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.Significant experience in nursing education, including previous leadership roles.Strong understanding of accreditation standards and processes.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.Benefits
