CPC Certified OP Coder

A company is looking for an OP Coder.

Key Responsibilities

Abstract clinical information from medical records and assign appropriate ICD-10 and / or CPT-4 codes

Work with coding databases and confirm DRG assignments

Input and maintain data for state or other reporting procedures

Required Qualifications

Associate degree may be required

AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or AHIMA RHIT or CCS certification required

Typically requires 4+ years of related experience

Proficiency in multiple specialties of discipline

Additional credentials may be preferred
