Project Manager PMP
Trillium Professional is now seeking a Project Manager in Richmond!
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for successfully planning, organizing, and motivating diverse project teams throughout all phases of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid projects, and for delivering projects that provide exceptional value to the company's internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities include : coordinating vendors and consultants, overseeing the development of proposals, facilitating multi-disciplinary teams, managing execution and coordination of day-to-day project activities, managing working relationships with key stakeholders, setting project goals, tracking and communicating project progress, collaborating with technology leads, driving consistent project delivery, monitoring progress by third-party vendors, developing and maintaining project budget, plans, task lists, schedules, and adhering to company project management practices.
Pay rate is $77 / hour.
Strong experience in developing, executing, and managing cloud hosted SaaS implementation projects is required. Strong experience leading the business and IT resources through the discovery and documentation of business and technical requirements is required. Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills are required. Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaborating and team building are required. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to lead others to implement new approaches, systems, structures, and methods is required. Ability to define and balance the competing demands for quality, scope, schedule, and cost is required. Communicate timelines and expectations to technical and business staff. Ability to analyze and document system processes is required. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle models is required. Exceptional knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project management principles and practices is required. Knowledge of process engineering and re-engineering techniques and practices is required. The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience managing large projects and a bachelor's degree. Fluency in Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and Office is required. PMP Certification through PMI is required. Experience with VITA's Commonwealth Technology Portfolio (CTP) system and ECOS process is strongly preferred. Experience with Project Management Office methodologies and practices is strongly preferred. Experience with the core Commonwealth IT procurement processes (RFP, VITA Statewide Contract, and CAI SOW) is preferred.
