Ready to own the setup?
Based in Alameda, CA, we’re looking for someone who thrives on dialing in CNC processes for die‑cast aluminum parts. If you can read a print, edit G‑code, and get from first‑article to stable production efficiently, this is your lane.
What you’ll do
- Set up and run CNC equipment to blueprint / spec requirements.
- Perform light programming and G‑code edits to optimize cycle time and finish.
- Check parts during and after machining to ensure quality targets are met.
- Team up with peers to troubleshoot tooling, workholding, and program issues.
- Document setups, parameters, and results for repeatability.
- Champion safety procedures and good shop practices.
What you need
Track record as a CNC setup / programmer or similar role.Working knowledge of CNC controls and G‑code editing.Comfortable reading drawings with GD&T.Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.Experience with inspection and quality control methods.Clear communicator and effective team contributor.Core competencies
