Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our team located in Huntsville, AL!

This position 's primary duties will be supporting BDS programs, including Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) performing First Article Inspection (FAI), Corrective Actions, Non-Conformance Review (NCR) disposition, review / approving / interpreting engineering drawing requirements, approving work instructions, and interfacing with customers and stakeholders.

This is an on-site position that currently supports a 4x10 work schedule on Shift A Monday - Thursday 6 : 00AM - 4 : 30PM. Initial training and future support may occur on variable shift. This is at the hiring team's discretion and may change in the future based on business needs.

Associate - Level 2 :

• Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation.
• Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
• Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities.
• Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
• Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
• Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
• Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
• Works under general supervision.

Mid-Level - Level 3 :

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and / or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Associate - Level 2 : $79,900 - $108,100

Summary pay range for Mid-Level - Level 3 : $95,200 - $128,800
