Essential Job Duties

In collaboration with the Director and sponsoring works to ensure that the mission and Objectives of the facility are sts with establishing and maintaining communication channels with medical staff and other departments within the hospital.
Develops and ensures implementation of operational standards within the facility which promote the maintenance of patient tains communication with the director regarding potential or actual problems.
Assesses the multiplicity of patient care needs to prescribe an appropriate plan of care for the sses and reassesses the patient’s condition on an ongoing opriately prescribes medical / nursing therapies based on patients’ care needs.
Effectively interprets laboratory / diagnostic based on ctively evaluates patients’ responses to prescribed medical / nursing therapies.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients and families served, in relation to growth and development over the life span to identify their requirements relative to age specific needs.
Demonstrates a sound knowledge base of advancednursing theory and practice, including principles ofadvanced physical assessment, and pharmacology.
Required Education and Experience
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
3 - 5 years related experience
Required License / Certifications
Current Physician Assistant license in the State of Texas
