Job Description
Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Manager 3 in Chandler, Arizona to lead the Environmental Health & Safety Engineering team.
This role will manage our Environmental Health and Safety Team, including direct reports of EHS Coordinators and EHS Engineers, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
Responsibilities :
Oversees and manages manufacturing processes, including pneumatics, OSHA-related safety procedures, chemical processes, and environmental compliance.
Provides leadership in identifying and mitigating safety risks associated with processes, ensuring compliance with Hazards Operation Standards (HOPs).
Understands and complies with DoD 4145.26 Contractors Safety Manual for Explosives.
Manages EH&S engineers and coordinators, collaborating closely with the Hazards Analysis and Cross-Functional Engineering group.
Manages and presents status on cost, schedule, and performance for all projects; assesses issues and develops mitigation plans.
Writes and maintains EH&S manuals and procedures.
Provides input to federal, city, and state regulators as required.
Ensures EH&S staff maintain training certifications.

Basic Qualifications :
Minimum of 9 years related experience with a Bachelors degree or 7 years related experience with a Masters degree.
Active Security Clearance required.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with all levels of an organization.
NOTE : Non-degreed applicants will not be considered.
Only applicants with active current secret / DoD clearance will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications :
Previous EHS management experience.
Certifications in Environmental or Health & Safety related programs.
Salary Range : $133,400 - $200,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers various factors when determining base salary offers.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results.
