Job descriptionCandidates must have a Bachelor’s in a life science or healthcare discipline, be pursuing a Bachelor’s, or 2+ years biorepository laboratory background Candidates must have previous experience in sample management as well as LIMS experience Candidate must have a strong knowledge of following Good Laboratory Practices as well as Good Documentation Practices and SOP’s Strong attention to detail required! Candidates must be comfortable working in freezers to retrieve samples Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a Biopharmaceutical company in the Cary area who is hiring a Biorepository Laboratory Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering excellent benefits, working Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, with occasional required ‘on call’ time.
Responsibilities :
- Biorepository Laboratory Technician will assist with collecting, cataloging and storing potentially infectious samples
- Technician will perform all necessary documentation and paperwork
- Technician will assist with performing inventory of samples
- Technician will be required to follow all SOPs, and regulations pertaining to the repository to include HIPAA regulations and client confidentiality
