Complex Litigation Paralegal

Position :  Litigation Paralegal (Defense)

Location : Downtown Miami

Schedule :  Hybrid – Work from home 1 day per week

Experience Required :  5+ years in defense litigation

Overview : We are a well-established defense firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background handling complex cases and large volumes of documents. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of defense-side litigation experience and be capable of hitting the ground running with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage all phases of complex litigation, including case organization, discovery, and trial preparation.

Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and trial exhibits.

Review, identify, and summarize large volumes of records and documents.

Support attorneys in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.

Coordinate communication between clients, experts, and other key stakeholders.

Maintain and organize electronic and paper case files for efficient retrieval and management.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 5 years of defense-side litigation experience required.

Strong organizational, research, and analytical skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Proficiency in document management and litigation support software.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.

Good job history.
