Radiology Technologist Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel Radiology Technologist

Location : San Angelo, Texas 76903

Healthcare Setting : Community Hospital Radiology Department

Start Dates : December 1, 2025 or December 15, 2025

Contract Duration : 13-week travel contract

Shift : Night Shift (Friday-Sunday, 7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am; 3x12-hour shifts)

Rotational Call & Holidays : As assigned

Patient Age Groups : Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Estimated Weekly Hours : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1840-$1890

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)

Active ARRT (R) certification required

Current BLS certification

Experience with charting systems (any system accepted)

Preferred : Trauma Level II experience and prior travel healthcare assignment experience

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Texas Radiology Technologist license in-hand required at time of submission

Ability to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, MRI, Dexa, and Vascular studies

Conduct bedside and portable imaging for adult and pediatric patients

Utilize PACS (McKesson) and operate equipment such as Carestream digital portables, Siemens Agile and Artis Zee digital fluoro suites, Shimadzu digital portable, Philips Zenition C-arms, and GE OEC C-arms

Adhere to isolation precautions and radiology safety protocols

Provide imaging services for chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, trauma, and more

Participate in rotational call and holiday coverage as scheduled

Collaborate with interdisciplinary radiology team to deliver high-quality patient care
