People Operations Associate
Faropoint is in search of a talented People Operations Associate to report directly to our Chief People Officer in a hybrid role encompassing traditional people operations functions and hands-on recruiting coordination, making it ideal for someone passionate about both employee experience and talent acquisition.
This role will be full-time and on-site in our Hoboken, NJ headquarters.
People Operations Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace procedures.
- Own all administrative aspects of the employee lifecycle, from candidate experience to onboarding, all the way through to offboarding.
- Maintain the data integrity of People Operations systems such as Rippling.
- Update and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook content.
- Develop workflow automation to improve efficiency of routine HR tasks.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems and ensure data integrity across all platforms.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and annual open enrollment processes.
Recruiting Coordination Responsibilities
Coordinate interview scheduling, logistics, and candidate communication across multiple stakeholders.Maintain and optimize our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse) for efficient pipeline management.Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments to ensure quality pipeline.Support recruitment marketing efforts including job posting optimization and employer branding initiativesTrack and analyze recruiting metrics to identify process improvements and bottlenecks.Coordinate reference checks, background screenings, and offer letter processes.Qualifications
Minimum 1-3 years in people operations, recruiting coordination, or related HR function.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS (Rippling), ATS (Greenhouse), Slack, Monday, Lattice, or similar productivity tools.Familiarity with recruiting platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed) and video conferencing tools (Teams, Zoom).Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.Sensitivity and discretion around highly confidential information.Passion for optimizing, improving and automating processes.Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple recruiting processes simultaneously.Expert-level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully communicate across all levels, situations and personalities.What We Offer :
