Description :

Position Description :

This role requires a Vocational / Technical Degree in Radiology Technology.

Experience in MRI is preferred, with 1-2 years being ideal.

Certification as a Radiology Technologist (RT) is required.

Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) from the ARRT is necessary.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.

General Skills :

Strong organizational skills are essential.

Effective communication skills are necessary for patient interaction.

Interpersonal skills are important for building relationships with patients and staff.

Customer relations skills are vital to provide positive patient experiences.

Analytical skills to assess and interpret imaging results.

Good grammar and spelling are needed in documentation.

Ability to read and comprehend written instructions is important.

Following verbal instructions is required.

Basic computer skills are necessary for maintaining records and documentation.

General clerical skills will be part of the job duties.

Physical Requirements :

Good manual dexterity is needed to operate equipment.

Physical Demands :

Standing occasionally within the shift (1-33%).

Walking occasionally within the shift (1-33%).

Sitting frequently within the shift (34-66%).

Bending / stooping occasionally within the shift (1-33%).

Twisting at the waist occasionally within the shift (1-33%).
