Job Overview :

Alogent is currently recruiting a Regional Account Manager for its Midwest Territory. As the leader in our market, we are looking for a proven, high energy, success-driven sales executive who will create growth in our company.

This is a quota-carrying sales position responsible for driving efforts to expand and grow Alogent market share and presence in the industry through the execution of consultative sales activities with existing and prospective clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads and driving new sales for Alogent through direct sales of our 3 primary software solutions Deposits Automation, Enterprise Content and Information Management, and Online, Mobile and Digital Banking.

This position boasts a market competitive base salary plus commission and carries an annual sales quota. Effective communication, presentation, relationship-building, organizational and problem-solving skills are necessary.

Travel (as needed) is required within the territory.

This is a remote position. We strongly prefer someone who resides inside the territory, but it is not a requirement.

Essential Job Responsibilities :

  • Meet / Exceed Annual Quota
  • Generate leads and drive sales of Alogent’s products to financial institutions within the designated territory (existing customers and new logos) or as assigned by the CRO (Chief Revenue Officer)
  • Prospect for new business within assigned territory (upsell, cross-sell and new logos)
  • Manage the effective and rapid movement of leads through the sales process, including qualification of prospects; assessment of potential client needs;

presentations of Alogent’s products; and expeditious closing of business

  • Manage existing client relationships within existing install base and expand relationships as appropriate
  • Daily maintenance of sales pipeline, statuses, and forecasts in Salesforce
  • Assist the renewal process of product and support agreements
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction which is measured by ongoing customer satisfaction metrics and high contract renewal rates
  • Act as a trusted advisor ensuring customers are effectively using Alogent’s applications, and recommend adoption of newer versions of installed products or expanded services
  • Work closely with internal departments such as Professional Services, Development, Customer Support and Accounting
  • Participate in customer calls and onsite visits

Qualifications / Experience :

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and / or equivalent experience in related field
  • 5+ years direct sales experience in fintech / financial services sector selling to credit unions and community banks
  • Strong knowledge of digital banking, content management and / or item processing solutions. Familiarity with how these applications are used within the market and knowledge of major competitive offerings
  • Demonstrated understanding of sales cycles and processes
  • Experience in opportunity qualification, account development and ongoing relationship management
  • Proven record of accomplishment for consistently attaining quota
  • Must be professional with exceptional etiquette skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Exceptional time management / task management skills
  • Aptitude to listen to customer needs and recite information to ensure those needs are met through our solutions and products
  • Experience using salesforce CRM software
  • Quickly acquire product / industry knowledge to deliver cost-justified solutions
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey information and ideas through verbal and / or written media to individuals or groups
  • Ability to work tactfully through challenging customer issues
  • Problem solver who takes the initiative to get things done; an enthusiastic go getter!
  • Ability to construct, present and execute a Territory Sales Plan
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required
