About the Opportunity :

- Patient Population : Ages 5-22, IDD
Responsibilities : The SLP will :
Evaluating communication skills to include : receptive language, expressive language, articulation, voice, fluency, oral-motor skills and hearing.Developing a comprehensive service plan according to program policies and regulations, including school, outpatient, etc.Providing therapy as outlined by treatment plan of communication disorders of Individual Treatment Plan / Individual Education Plan.Maintaining professional standards in and out of the Center in compliance with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Code of Ethics.Instructing and counseling students / clients and / or their families regarding the specific nature of their communications impairments and how to best deal with this in various speaking situations.Qualifications :
Master's degree or its equivalent in the field of Speech PathologyHold Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech / Hearing AssociationCurrent state Speech / Language Pathologist licenseThree+ years of experience working with children as a speech / language pathologist.Desired Skills :
Experience with IDD students
