Job descriptionEvaluating communication skills to include : receptive language, expressive language, articulation, voice, fluency, oral-motor skills and hearing. Developing a comprehensive service plan according to program policies and regulations, including school, outpatient, etc. Providing therapy as outlined by treatment plan of communication disorders of Individual Treatment Plan / Individual Education Plan. Maintaining professional standards in and out of the Center in compliance with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Code of Ethics. Instructing and counseling students / clients and / or their families regarding the specific nature of their communications impairments and how to best deal with this in various speaking situations. Master's degree or its equivalent in the field of Speech Pathology Hold Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech / Hearing Association Current state Speech / Language Pathologist license Three+ years of experience working with children as a speech / language pathologist.
