Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center is recruiting a PRN and / or weekend coverage Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for the Residential Treatment facility. Duties for the new physician include admission evaluations, medication management and direct patient care. The predominant caseload will be Child and adolescent ages 5-17 years with diverse psychiatric treatment issues. Physicians at Harbor Point work in a collegial, supportive and caring environment working with other physicians, clinical staff and administration where there is opportunity for professional and personal growth. Caseload and call are manageable. Ideal candidates will be BE / BC in Child Psychiatry with focused interest and experience working with Child and adolescent and Adults 5-17 years of age.

Compensation :

The position is for either contract work or, if part-time hours, competitive salary and benefits. Competitive hourly rates or fee for service.

Education, Training & Experience (includes licenses or certifications) .

• MD / DO degree from an accredited program required
• Board certified or Board Eligible in C / A Psychiatry.
• Licensed to practice in the State of Virginia or the ability to obtain a VA medical license
• Minimum of 4 years of practice / training experience
• Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
