Laser Eye Institute is seeking an Ophthalmic technician to join our team of dedicated professionals. Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and thorough diagnostic tests
- Take patient histories and document all findings accurately in electronic medical records system
- Provide patient education on preoperative and postoperative instructions, including medication use and restrictions
- Maintain and clean ophthalmic equipment and instruments
Requirements
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in OphthalmologyStrong knowledge of ophthalmic terminology, procedures, and medicationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAbility to work well in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with physicians and clinical staffBenefits
