Experienced Caregivers Needed

Visiting Angels in Sudbury, Ma is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including home care, assisted living, and group homes. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through attentive and personalized care.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Administer medications according to care plans

Prepare meals

Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living environment.

Assist with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.

Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.

Provide specialized care for clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or developmental disabilities.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.

Skills

Experience in home health, hospice care, or long-term care settings is a plus.

Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health status.

Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.

Familiarity with cooking and meal preparation .

Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families.

Must

Have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle to get to and from work

Willing to take clients out for appointments or to run errands

Speak fluent English

Able to work weekends

Willing to travel to the following towns :

Sudbury, Lincoln, Wayland, Weston, Maynard, Hudson, Marlboro, Framingham, and Ashland
