Remote Call Center Representative
Job Description : JKKN Institutions is seeking a fulltime call center representativeto join our team. This is a workfromhome position that involvestaking phone calls from JKKN members and assisting them with theirneeds.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer serviceskills be comfortable working with phone systems and software andhave the ability to workindependently.
Responsibilitiesinclude but not limited to thefollowing :
1. Provides telephoneservice to members regarding a variety of services to includeemergency road service auto travel membership TripTik orders DIPschedules travel store items and other relatedrequests.
2. Gathers appropriate information todetermine type of service required and other standard informationto provide service;
requires use of various software to respondappropriately.
3. Verifies memberships incomputer.
4. Maintains a high level of knowledgeregarding products and services to provide Ultimate CustomerSatisfaction.
5. Sells and renews membershipsexplaining member benefits in detail.
6. Suggestsand crosssells other related items such as cell phones financialproducts travelers checks international drivers permits passportphotos attraction tickets and travel store merchandise throughreferral to local office or 800# forassistance.
7. Inventories stocks assemblescollates copies and maintains products andmaterials.
8. Deals with emergency situations ina professional manner ensuring that the member is safe and takingany necessary precautions (examples : expediting service;
contactingpolice; calming member; etc.).
9. Assists memberswith travel questions and / or refers questions to Travel Agency whenappropriate.
10. Performs other duties asassigned.
Qualificationsnecessary for successfully performing this positioninclude :
- Possess highschool diploma or equivalent
- One yearexperience in either customer service or a call centerenvironment.
- Possess excellent telephonecustomer service and interpersonalskills.
- Requires ability to work on phones andcomputer for length of work shift.
- Possessexcellent communications skills and ability to work with people whoare in stressful situations.
- Be proficient incomputer / keyboard skills and possess the ability to learn and usesoftware.
- Have general working knowledge ofgeography and ability to read maps as well as possessing goodjudgment and quick decisionmaking skills.
- Ableto work in a fastpaced environment quickly adapting tochange.
- Available to work assigned hours andovertime when necessary; may require evenings weekends and / orholiday assignments.
- Must have a reliableinternet connection and a quiet workspace to work fromhome.
