Temporary Administrative Assistant

The City of Middleton's Senior Center is seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to support our team during a staff leave of absence. This temporary role offers a chance to work in a collaborative, professional environment while making a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults in our community. In this role, you will :
- Perform a wide range of clerical and accounting tasks, including financial transactions, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and a variety of others.
- Deliver excellent customer service by answering phones, assisting visitors, and providing accurate information.
- Maintain accurate records including contracted services and updating employee leave reports and personnel records.
- Order and track inventory.
- Complete special projects and other job duties as needed.
Other experience and qualifications : The ideal candidate will bring :
High School Diploma or equivalent.A minimum of two (2) years of experience in office or administrative support, accounting, or a closely related field is required.Working knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and standard office equipment.Strong organizational, time management, and customer service skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
