HR Generalist / Recruiter

Bachman's Human Resources has an opening for experienced HR Generalist / Recruiter who is skilled in full cycle talent acquisition, general HR experience, and answering employee and manager inquiries. If you are able and interested in producing written training material to support companies' overall objectives and legal compliance that would be a plus! Prior UKG experience preferred.
The HR Generalist / Recruiter role entails working across the human resources disciplines of recruitment, onboarding, training, job evaluations, compensation, benefits, employee & labor relations, employment law compliance, and HRIS. Provide input and assist in the development of policies and procedures and ensure consistent application of all policies and procedures.
Position Duties :
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent.
- Identify talent acquisition challenges and utilize sourcing strategies to develop recruiting efforts that effectively generate top quality talent.
- Build applicant sources and implement creative recruiting resources to attract qualified candidates.
- Maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future talent needs.
- Manage and coordinate appropriate communications with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
- Manage interview schedules with supervisors.
- Extend verbal and written offers to candidates, working with supervisors if negotiation is needed.
- Ensure regulatory aspects of the full-cycle recruitment process are compliant with federal and state legislation.
- Lead and partner with managers in organizing in-company sponsored recruiting events including college job fairs and related recruiting meetings.
Qualifications :
A Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.PHR certification a plus.Three plus years' experience in a HR Generalist / Recruiter role.Experience with writing reports; researching and creating training, and business correspondence.Strong working knowledge and application of state and federal laws relating to Human Resources.Demonstrated successful recruitment sourcing techniques.Excellent communication skills, oral and written required at all levels.Familiar with union contract wage rates and administration of applicable language.Previous experience with an ATS and HRIS database systems (e.g. UKG and JazzHR).Strong knowledge of MS Office.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Self-starter. Takes ownership and accountability of assigned tasks and projects.Innovative thinker, able and willing to streamline processes and drive efficiencies.This is a full-time on-site position.
