Pay Range : $24.00 to $32.00 per hour

This is a non-exempt position that is compensated hourly.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Issaquah location, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinical operations and delivering exceptional patient care. This position involves working with patients across all age groups, assisting with patient intake, vital signs measurement, and point-of-care testing related to asthma and allergies. Our office promotes a supportive environment with a 2 : 1 CMA to provider ratio, ensuring manageable workloads and high-quality patient interactions.

Duties :

• Check in patients, record vital signs, and gather medical history, including medication and allergies. Conduct preliminary tests as needed based on the patient’s condition, and enter all information into the EMR system.
• Carry out clinical procedures accurately and promptly as directed by the provider.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, care planning, disease processes, environmental controls, and device usage. Document key take-home messages in the EMR system.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure exam rooms are prepared for each patient.
• Restock sample medications and printed patient information as required.

Requirements :

• Current Washington State LPN or CMA license.
• Completion of the state-mandated 7-hour AIDS / HIV training program.
• CPR / First Aid certification for healthcare professionals.
• Proof of Washington State insured Medical Assistant certification or registration.
• Experience with EMR / EHR systems, with prior use of Epic, GE, or similar platforms preferred.
• Self-motivated and empathetic, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Willingness to be a team player and to develop a variety of technical skills.
• Experience in outpatient settings, particularly in asthma / allergy, ENT, pediatric, or dermatology specialties is a plus.
