Med / Surg Tele RN Job Details Location : Yuma, Arizona (85364) – Arizona nursing jobs Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital – Med / Surg Telemetry (2 West Unit) Job Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM) Hours : 36 guaranteed hours per week Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holiday Requirement : Typically 2 out of 3 holidays Unit Size : 90 double-occupancy beds Scrub Color : Navy Blue Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,990 - $2,130 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Arizona or compact state BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in Med / Surg Telemetry or related specialty Recent experience in a Level I or II trauma hospital Proficiency with Epic EMR system Ability to float to MedSurg, stable low acuity ICU, RDU, and Foothills clinic RDU as needed Must comply with 100-mile radius rule No more than 5 days of requested time off during assignment Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients with conditions such as pneumonia, COPD, acute kidney injury, and post-surgical needs Monitor, assess, and document patient care using Epic EMR Administer medications and manage RT equipment (Bipap, stable trach) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including charge nurses, PCAs, and monitor techs Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1 : 6 during night shifts Participate in unit orientation and ongoing clinical education Float to other units as required and provide support during low census on-call situations Apply now to join our healthcare team in Yuma, Arizona, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
