Job Summary
The Poker Room Supervisor oversees the operation and management of Poker games within the casino, ensuring smooth gameplay, adherence to gaming regulations, and superior guest service. This role requires a strong understanding of gaming procedures, leadership skills, and the ability to handle guest concerns while maintaining security and efficiency in the Poker Room.

Duties / Responsibilities
Maintains game security and always protects company assets.Engages guests during their play and develops relationships to create customer loyalty and repeat visits.Manages guest disputes, issues or concerns related to the department while maintaining a professional demeanor, balancing the need to protect assets and ensures regulatory compliance with guest satisfaction.Manages staffing levels according to volume of business.Enforces all poker procedures and policies.Prepares necessary shift and other reports.Makes recommendations for policy or operational changes to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulations.Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to state and federal labor laws and the Virginia Lottery Board regulations and guidelines.Performs all other duties as assigned.Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older.Two or more years of related experience.High school diploma or general education degree (GED).Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of poker procedures, game protection, regulations, and training requirements.Must have strong leadership skills with a clear focus on guest service and Team Member relations as a priority.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to staff or customers and other employees of the organization.Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.Frequently required to meet deadlines.Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor.Must have full working knowledge of the BRAVO system.Must have knowledge of Tournaments, structures, and payouts through Bravo.Available to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.Certifications, Licenses, and / or Registrations
Able to obtain and retain gaming license / registration as required by jurisdiction(s).Physical Requirements
Must be able to identify colors.Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, see, walk, talk, and hear; use hands to, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.Equal Opportunity Employer
