Spindle is hiring dependable and empathetic on-call paraprofessional substitutes to support students and staff in schools across the Atlanta area. This per diem position offers flexible scheduling and a meaningful opportunity to help foster both academic success and personal growth in students throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with teachers to enhance instruction and create a supportive learning environment for all students.

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs

Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment

Support behavioral interventions and encourage positive student interactions

Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and recess as needed

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success

Follow school policies and procedures to ensure compliance with district guidelines

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or relevant experience preferred

Prior experience working with children or in a school environment is a plus

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in diverse classroom settings

Dependability, patience, and a positive attitude

Must be able to pass background checks and complete required school district onboarding
