Position Summary :
Lightbeam Advisory Services assists our clients with developing and deploying a focused and concise population health strategy that aligns with their organizational and contractual initiatives.
The Junior Population Health Advisor is a critical member of the Advisory team who assists with identifying areas of high cost and utilization, both historical and present.
By reviewing claims, clinical data and / or financial files provided by the client, the Jr. PHA assists the Advisory Services team with extracting, analyzing, and interpreting actionable insights that will be used to make informed business decisions.
The Jr. PHA role is an internal-facing position requiring a purpose driven analytical mindset, outstanding relationship skills and industry acumen related to population health.
The ideal teammate will have successfully demonstrated analytical experience with the ability to come up to speed on the population health industry quickly.
Expectations for this role include building and managing successful relationships with both new and existing clients, identifying their needs and goals to help them succeed using our population health management tools and collaborating closely with Lightbeam teams to help drive client and company success.
Responsibilities :
- Gathering, manipulating and synthesizing data from multiple sources to draw conclusions and make recommendations resulting in implementable strategies
- Being a key team member in developing regular performance reports, market assessments and ad hoc analyses as related to business growth strategies and performance measurements for Lightbeam clients in accordance with project timelines
- Follow all processes and procedures related to program operations and safeguarding of personally identifiable information / personal health information
- Coordinates resolution of claims encounter data issues to applicable internal stakeholders
- Build strong, credible working relationships with Lightbeam’s internal teammates
Qualifications :
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills required to communicate results, strategic initiatives, goals, and objectives
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the healthcare realm
- Detail-oriented mindset
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Team-player attitude; willingness to work across department lines to serve our clients
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Education :
- Undergraduate degree in healthcare, business, or related field
