About The Role
Altera is leading the way to transform how we design FPGAs. In this position, you will be joining the North American Factory Applications Team as an FPGA Design Applications Engineer specializing in Quartus Software tools and system solutions. You will help revolutionize our customer experience by using new technologies to showcase our software tools and support our customers.
A successful candidate is an FPGA designer who has hands-on experience with FPGA design software tools and knows how to design, simulate, and debug FPGA designs.

Actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer / Electrical Engineering (or related field) with a minimum of 3+ years of related applications engineering or system design experience OR a Master of Science degree in Computer / Electrical Engineering (or related field) with a minimum of 3+ years of related applications engineering or system design experience
Experience with Power and Thermal Analysis tools
