Account Executive

We offer our customers the flexibility to use their accounts to purchase and receive payments for goods and services, as well as the ability to transfer and withdraw funds. We enable consumers to exchange funds more safely with merchants using a variety of funding sources, which may include a bank account, a PayPal or Venmo account balance, PayPal and Venmo branded credit products, a credit card, a debit card, certain cryptocurrencies, or other stored value products such as gift cards, and eligible credit card rewards. Our PayPal, Venmo, and Xoom products also make it safer and simpler for friends and family to transfer funds to each other. We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to drive new revenue growth by selling embedded finance solutions into vertical SaaS platforms. This role is critical in expanding PayPal's reach in the fast-growing embedded finance ecosystem, where SaaS platforms are increasingly embedding payments, credit, and financial services directly into their software offerings. You will be responsible for sourcing, closing, and managing new SaaS partner relationships, helping them monetize financial services and create differentiated value for their customers. Working cross-functionally with Product, Compliance, Risk, and Marketing, you will ensure our solutions are positioned to accelerate adoption and deliver measurable impact.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Lead complex projects of diverse scope to manage partnerships.
  • Resolve complex problems related to partnerships.
  • Implement initiatives resulting in global process improvements.
  • Determine methods and procedures for new assignments.
  • Understand and influence business trends impacting partnerships.

Expected Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Drive new business development by prospecting and closing SaaS platform partners seeking to embed payments, credit, and other financial services.
  • Develop and deliver compelling value propositions, business cases, and deal structures that align PayPal's solutions with partner business models.
  • Partner with internal teams (Product, Risk, Compliance, Marketing) to ensure a seamless partner onboarding and go-to-market process.
  • Build strong executive-level relationships with partner decision makers, establishing PayPal as the trusted provider of embedded finance capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop partner activation and adoption campaigns.
  • Meet and exceed quota targets for revenue growth and new partner acquisition.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 57 years' experience in sales or business development in fintech, SaaS, or payments.
  • Understanding of embedded finance, SaaS monetization, and payment processing economics.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, negotiate, and close mid-to-large complex deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-starter, results-oriented, with a passion for innovation in financial services.
