We seek a Creative Director, Design to lead the brand design discipline for a cross-portfolio of brands in Consumer and Business Marketing. This leader will cultivate a vision for how brand portfolios manifest across surfaces and integrated channels, guiding internal and external agencies. The role aims to develop timeless brands, elevate design craft, advocate for design-led experiences and systems, and grow our evolving design practice within consumer marketing.
Responsibilities
Define and lead the design vision for a horizontal cross-portfolio of brands in Marketing and Consumer Marketing, including Meta, Meta AI, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp
Lead a team and work hands-on to develop original, breakthrough brand systems, behaviors and design solutions that serve a global audience
Elevate and raise the quality of design craft
Inspire, enable and energize an industry-leading design team, and cultivate a creative work environment
Advocate for design thinking, solutions and consistency for the brand design, brand expression, campaign design and brand activations
Work seamlessly across organizational structures, partnering with Marketing, Product and Business leadership to develop holistic brand systems
Minimum Qualifications
12+ years experience in design, building consumer brands globally
5+ years of demonstrated people management experience coaching and developing team members
Experience building timeless brands through brand architecture
Experience with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience leading integrated design work : traditional, product and experiential
Experience manifesting strategy through brand and campaign design
Experience managing and leading work within an agency, or similar environment
Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners at all levels in a variety of disciplines
Experience partnering with and influencing Chief Marketing Officers and other executive stakeholders
Experience hiring talent and developing design teams
Bachelors degree in a creative or similar discipline, or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using AI tools for design and creative
