SALARY $56,093.60 - $69,024.70

A non-profit organization is seeking a fulltime, Care Coordinator supporting the crisis

team. The position addresses professional and administrative duties necessary for the efficient

use of services by engaging with community agencies and care providers on the client’s behalf

to help link clients to community resources and follow-up care. In addition, services include

obtaining support for housing benefits and working with phone counselors to provide needed

medication support. Further, this position has ongoing interactions with other staff, the Crisis

Intervention Team (CIT), and the Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) to ensure support for services to

address client needs.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s in Psychology, Social Work, or related field and minimum two (2) years’

experience; Master’s Degree desired. Knowledge of Medicaid, Social Security and other

entitlements preferred. Knowledge of relevant federal, state and county policies,

procedures and regulations. Knowledge of relevant system of care for Anne Arundel

County. Extensive knowledge of public and private mental health providers and community

resources. Knowledge of acute medical, psychiatric and substance use symptoms,

diagnoses and treatments.
