Compensation Senior Specialist

The Compensation Senior Specialist is responsible for overseeing the administration of Market Intelligence programs for FINRA and the systems that support these programs. The position also provides support to Compensation Program managers and employees with regards to functional programs and actively seeks opportunities to improve programs.

Essential Job Functions :

• Administers Compensation programs; ensures compliance with policies and practices; educates employees, managers, and HR staff; and escalates issues as needed.
• Collaborates with multiple functional areas within HR and managers and employees across the organization to address policy, procedure and systems questions and issues.
• Maintains the market intelligence framework to support FINRA's compensation programs and total rewards.
• Consult and collaborate with business leaders, HR business partners and Rewards Team in the maintenance of creation of job families, career ladders, compensation strategies and analyzing internal and market equity competitiveness.
• Consult and collaborate with business leaders, HR business partners and Rewards Team in the mapping of job profiles to survey data, maintenance of job families, and analyzing internal and market equity.
• Supports the maintenance of FINRA's job description database.
• Prepares a variety of analytical reports to support decision-making and to assess compensation program results; recommends course of action based on analysis.
• Develops and documents procedures to streamline processes and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the development of salary structures and slotting of jobs into appropriate levels.
• Collaborate with Legal to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and pay equity.
• Ensures compliance with policies and regulations impacting the functional area; including : SOX, DOL, EEOC and OFCCP regulations.
• Working knowledge of and experience working with Payscale or Salary.com.

In addition to location, actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's skill set, level of experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons.

CA : Minimum Salary $94,200, Maximum Salary $176,000

CO / FL / TX : Minimum Salary $81,900, Maximum Salary $146,600

IL / PA : Minimum Salary $90,100, Maximum Salary $161,300

MA / MD / VA / Washington, DC : Minimum Salary $94,200, Maximum Salary $168,600

NY / NJ : Minimum Salary $94,200, Maximum Salary $176,000

Candidates can expect salary offers that range from the minimum to the mid-point of the salary range. FINRA provides full pay ranges so that the candidate can consider their growth potential while at FINRA.
