Responsibilities :

• Underwriting and Portfolio Management : Partner with multiple Business Banking Relationship Managers (BRMs) to identify credit risk and quality of the portfolio, discuss client strategies, and explore business opportunities. Act as a liaison between the Commercial Production staff, Credit Risk Department, and other internal staff.
• Regular and proactive communication with BRMs to ensure updated financials, covenant compliance, understanding of clients' businesses, and to identify cross-sell opportunities. Manage and facilitate the renewal of all credits under assigned BRMs at least 60 days prior to renewal.
• Interpret and evaluate credit bureau reports, UCC filings, and public record information. Prepare loan credit presentations, participate in the loan approval process, and prepare commitment letters or review as needed. Prepare loan files for documentation.
• Work with third-party evaluators for appraisal orders and environmental due diligence. Conduct regular meetings with BRMs, Administrative Assistants, and Loan Production teams to discuss priorities and the status of renewals and new business pipelines.

Financial and Credit Analysis : Provide accurate financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment of borrowers; recommend loan structures and discuss policy. Responsible for credit risk and quality of the loan portfolio, including identifying potential issues and ensuring compliance with regulations.
