Structural Steel Fabrication Foreman

Great Falls, MT

Skillforce is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Fabrication Foreman for a direct hire opportunity with our client. Relocation assistance and sign on bonus are available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all work adheres to all safety protocols and practices.

Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily team activities to meet production goals.

Maintain and inspect work quality, ensuring compliance with established standards.

Support and guide new team members during orientation.

Promote a culture of safety and enforce compliance with regulations.

Hold regular meetings with your team to communicate updates and provide direction.

Address performance issues and administer disciplinary actions as needed.

Manage material flow, track inventory locations, and monitor project progress.

Maintain a proactive approach with a focus on zero defects and timely delivery.

Coordinate and report maintenance needs for tools and equipment.

Perform other related tasks and special assignments as directed.

Qualifications :

High School Diploma or GED required.

Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or planning role within structural steel or a similar field.

Industry certifications (AWS or CWB) are a plus.

Proficient in welding processes including GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW.

Familiarity with AWS, AISC, and CWB standards.

Schedule :

• This is a night shift position : 4 : 30pm-3 : 00am
• 4 day work week
