Mobility Technician
The Mobility Technician assists patients in mobility and positioning, activities of daily living, and basic care within critical, medical-surgical, or other acute care hospital units. Completes documentation of mobility using an assessment scale. Strives to continue, improve and maintain patient satisfaction results and functional outcomes. Is flexible per needs of the patient, and takes direction from the nursing and therapy staff. Is responsible to develop as a peer leader, learning effective clinical decision-making skills, safe mobility techniques, appropriate use of mobility equipment, and is capable of teaching these skills to others.
