Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Mill Machinist with 5+ years of hands-on experience to set up, operate, and inspect precision components on vertical and / or horizontal CNC milling machines. The ideal candidate is highly skilled with G-code, complex multi-axis milling setups, program editing / creating and blueprint reading.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform advanced setups including 4th axis, angle head work, or multipart fixture loading.
• Program jobs offline using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam or similar).
• Reduce cycle time through optimization of toolpaths, tool selection, and work holding design.
• Coordinate tool crib needs and recommend tooling upgrades for efficiency.
• Train Tier 1 and 2 machinists and review their setups for accuracy.
• Lead root cause investigations for scrap / rework and implement corrective action.
• Work directly with quality and engineering on first article approvals and DPD compliance.
