Description : Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial plumbing, with a strong focus on diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues efficiently. The Plumbing Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures, ensuring they meet industry standards and codes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues in residential and commercial settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to determine plumbing requirements.
  • Inspect plumbing systems and identify defects or areas needing repair.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressing their concerns.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure job sites are clean and organized.
  • Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements : Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training in plumbing is preferred.
  • Relevant plumbing certification or license as required by local regulations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in plumbing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Lifting : Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, including pipes and tools, up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual Dexterity : Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery with precision.
  • Stamina : Capability to work on your feet for extended periods, often in physically demanding positions.
  • Climbing : Ability to climb ladders and work at heights as required for installations and repairs.
  • Bending and Kneeling : Comfortably bend, kneel, and crouch to access plumbing systems and perform tasks in confined spaces.
  • Coordination : Excellent hand-eye coordination for handling small parts and tools.
  • Strength : Physical strength to handle tools and equipment and perform strenuous tasks.
