Analytics Engineering Manager (Remote - US)

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the Analytics Engineering function, turning raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across the business. You will define the team’s vision, implement best practices, and build a robust semantic layer and data models that power analytics company-wide. Acting as both a technical contributor and a leader, you will mentor engineers, establish engineering rigor in analytics workflows, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. This position provides a platform to deliver high-impact projects, influence business outcomes, and shape the growth of a nascent analytics organization in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Accountabilities

• Define and execute the Analytics Engineering team charter, roadmap, and priorities.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Analytics Engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and impact.
• Contribute directly to high-impact dbt models and pipelines as a “player-coach.”
• Build and operationalize a semantic layer to serve as a single source of truth for company metrics.
• Implement engineering best practices, including version control, CI / CD, testing frameworks, and observability.
• Partner with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science teams to ensure smooth handoffs from ingestion to analysis.
• Deliver business-critical wins and clearly communicate progress, documentation, and best practices to stakeholders.
