Market Investigator, $ $68,640 to $78,000 yearly
Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Various Shifts
PTO available after the first 90 calendar days of employment.

R+L Carriers is seeking a Market Investigator at our West Sacramento, CA Service Center. This individual's primary responsibility is to investigate and mitigate risks associated with freight and shipment discrepancies. The Market Investigator will work with Regional and Corporate Security resources to successfully conduct internal and external investigations, provide incident response and conduct security assessments. In this position you will utilize the latest in network security technology to resolve and prevent risk to the organization. Successful candidates for this position must possess a good work ethic and be trusted to handle valuable customer freight.
Job Responsibilities
- Utilize software tools, data and proven skills to Investigate, resolve and prevent freight exceptions / losses
- Consistent and professional communication with various management levels and business departments
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve on procedures and best practice
- Audits compliance of policy and procedures
- Assist with the development of processes and procedures to improve incident response times, analysis of incidents, and overall investigations
- Performs other duties as required
