Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Project Management Specialist to join the F / A-18 Advanced Systems Team in Berkeley, MO.

F / A-18 Advanced Systems team is seeking an execution-focused project management focal to join our team. In this role, you will be supporting a portfolio of high-performing, cross-functional teams developing advanced capability for the F / A-18 and EA-18G aircraft.

Program Management best practices combined with a high level of discipline and follow-through are key to the success of this position.

The ideal candidate will work under minimal supervision, be biased towards action, find solutions, and enable the rest of the team to meet their commitments.

Position Responsibilities :

• Executes the program battle rhythm
• Evaluates IMS and EV performance and delivers recommendations
• Drives execution of program RIO process
• Coordinates / facilitates Quarterly customer reviews
• Supports integration between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers
• Highlights and drives resolution of program issues
• Supports the program manager in leading program execution by developing and coordinating program metrics
• Implements Program Management Best Practices
• Ensures projects are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan.
• Provides in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :

• 3+ year of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives
• 3+ year of experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders (i.e. business partner, customer, Finance, suppliers) in planning and executing projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :

• 5+ years of experience managing risks, cost performance and schedule performance
• 5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
