Job Summary: The Deaf Educator is responsible for planning and delivering a high-quality educational program to meet the academic and social emotional needs for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

There is a $5,000 hiring bonus for this positon paid over 3 years. Hiring requirements: Valid Iowa teaching license with Birth-21 Deaf or Hard of Hearing endorsement or willingness to obtain a conditional license.
Demonstrated effectiveness in oral, written, and American Sign Language communications.
Highly Qualified Candidates will possess: Previous classroom teaching experience.
Experience in an urban school district.
