Overview
Electrical Engineer III at Carlson Design Group. Location options include Peachtree Corners, GA; Detroit, MI; Charlotte, NC; or Tampa, FL. Carlson Design Group focuses on Mission Critical, Light Industrial, Financial Services and Commercial sectors.
Responsibilities
- Plan and Develop : Develop medium to large-scope unique projects with many complexities that significantly impact major company programs.
- Execute : Coordinate projects and oversee a large staff of engineers, designers, and associates.
- Major Project Responsibility : Licensed professional and Engineer of Record.
- Technical Expertise : Provide technical design support to the engineering team, prepare schematic designs, Construction Documents and specifications in compliance with project program and building design as directed by the lead engineer.
Qualifications
Have a bachelors degree in electrical engineering.Professional Engineering (PE) Registration and ability to obtain licensure in multiple states.Minimum 8 years of related experience including low and medium voltage design experience.Experience leading and executing projects independently from handoff.Competency in AutoCAD and Revit.Ideal to have
Mission critical or industrial engineering experience.Experience preparing Arc Flash and Breaker Coordination Analysis.Ability to solve problems and innovate.Why Carlson Design Group
