The Solar Activations Specialist II Position Sunnova Energy is searching for a Solar Activation Specialist II to be responsible for setting-up and monitoring wireless access points and devices, troubleshooting solar issues,and building a positive relationship with customers.
To work in the Sunnova New Homes department. This role will be responsible for managing the project cycle and coordinating multiple residential PV projects from start to finish.
The Solar Activations Specialist II will also serve as a liaison to construction managers, trade partners, and the Project Manager for assigned Communities.

provides homeowner with knowledgeable, timely and professional service·Keepsaccurateservicerequestlogsanddocumentationofallworkperformed.
- Demonstrates control and knowledge of workloads for Field operations team and identifies the need for staffing resources to Director of Operations in advance.
- Evaluates installer capacity and makes recommendations for work assignments. · Provides quality customer service. · Trouble-shoots solar issues in the field and resolves within the best interest of all parties.
Minimum Requirements ·Valid,unrestricted Motor Vehicle License·High School degree or GED·4 years of customer service experience·Experience with troubleshooting and procedures·Experience setting up wireless networks,including PoEandWAP.
- CATV knowledge·Ethernet wiring experience(Cat5e / 6,routers,switches,patch panels)· Minimum of 5 years solar installation or residential construction experience · Basic understanding of Sunnova products and processes · Knowledge of permit submittal process at local Jurisdictions · Understanding of Solar and electrical codes and ability to deal with AHJ and City inspectors.
- Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record Preferred Qualifications ·Ex : previous experience in energy is a plus·Expert knowledge of Sunnova’ s products Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ·Self-starter working with minimal supervision, maintain own schedule,arrive on time·Microsoft Office Suite knowledge (Excel,Outlook,Word)·Excellent communication skills,verbal and written·Familiarity with smartphones , tablets, smart TVs, and other Wi-Fi peripheral·Strong organizational and interpersonal skills·Able to effectively resolve confrontational situations,maintain objectivity in public relations, and accept constructive criticism.
