Job descriptionHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Superior oral and written communication skills Prior experience in administration, marketing, or communications. Energy, creativity, and attention to detail Flexible and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Very organized with good follow-up skills. Spanish-speaking a plus, but not required.
The Coachella Valley Disaster Preparedness Network ( CVDPN) needs a Board Secretary (Executive Assistant) as a part-time volunteer position.
Examples of tasks :
- Prepare Board Meeting agenda, minutes, notes.
- Monthly reporting on program progress toward goals.
- Communications with CVDPN Board Members, advisors, donors, and volunteers.
- Aproximately 20 hours a month
- 2 Board meetings monthly
- Volunteer in person
