About The Position

Job Title : RN Dialysis Traveler

Profession : Nursing

Specialty : Hemodialysis

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour Day Shift

Hours per Shift : 36

Experience : 1 year of Hemodialysis experience (inpatient or outpatient experience acceptable)

License : Active RN License (Wisconsin or compact)

Certifications : Active BLS (AHA)

Must-Have : Ability to work independently and as a strong team player

Description :

This position involves floating throughout various inpatient hospitals to provide hemodialysis treatment to acute / inpatient patients.

Travelers can expect to see 2 patients per shift with a 1 : 1 patient ratio.

EPIC charting, Pyxis medication dispensing, BBraun, and Milimum HX dialysis machines will be utilized.

Constant support from management and team members will be available throughout the assignment.

Before treating patients alone, travelers will work in tandem with another RN for 2 days.

Any solid color scrubs are acceptable.

Candidates must have the ability to adapt to different facilities and their protocols.
