Responsibilities
The Acute Care practitioner is a vital part of the care team, providing care to patients who are hospitalized for a wide range of illness, cancer, heart disease, strokes and circulatory disorders.
The Acute Care clinician and must be able to suggest treatment plans, provide care and evaluate outcomes. The Acute Care In-patient traveler works in an acute care / hospital facility.
While their careers may begin in another setting, an Acute Care In-patient specialists may find they have chosen rewarding enough to work in for the duration of their careers.
Qualifications
- Valid BLS, Candidates must have a valid professional license within the state of practice.
- Specialty related certifications may be required for specific healthcare positions.
