Waterfront Engineer Mid to Senior Level

Overview

Were actively looking for a Mid-Senior Level Waterfront Engineer to join our growing team in New England. Location flexibility is available; Rhode Island or Massachusetts offices are preferred. This role supports planning, permitting and design of waterfront and coastal infrastructure, including marinas, piers, bulkheads, seawalls, revetments, marine terminals, and living shoreline stabilization. The successful candidate will have experience designing and permitting waterfront projects and be a licensed professional engineer, joining a multidisciplinary team delivering coastal management solutions including coastal / waterfront engineering, coastal flood risk, resiliency and adaptation design, and dredged material management.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing Waterfront / Coastal practice projects and business development efforts.
• Assist in developing qualifications and proposals for waterfront infrastructure and coastal resilience-related RFPs.
• Assist and, ultimately, manage and perform engineering analysis, preliminary and detailed design of waterfront / coastal structures.
• Assist and, ultimately, manage projects (scope, budget, schedule) and collaborate with sub-consultants and team members, ensuring quality control throughout project execution, including :

Design and permitting of waterfront developments including piers, marinas and boardwalks
